So we got home Sunday night at 8 in the evening from our 14-night sojourn around the entire west side of the country. 15 days, 6 different beds, nearly 4000 miles of driving, 41 out of 50 license plates, sand in our shoes, flip-flop tan lines, and seatbelt burns across our necks. And a whole host of really awesome memories.
Monday morning we hit the ground running and haven't stopped. Lacrosse practice, volleyball, violin, football camp, pool time, vacation bible school, book club.
This morning, I'm cozied up with some tea, watching the rain, and I realize that summer has really just begun! We haven't even hit the hot part yet! Looking forward to those hot, lazy days ahead.....
