So, we were super-bummed to have to move our usual October trip to the Wallawas into November, but as stated before, October, well, virtually didn't exist. But when the weekend finally rolled around, we were thrilled to be smack in the middle of the first huge snowstorm! It was so beautiful and crisp! The kids spent the entire weekend either sledding, playing snow football, or being cozy by a fire. It could not have been better timing!
Roads were a little scary. Especially on the grades. Just a big old truck on ice skates.
