Kayte somehow turned 15 already! She was about a month out from completing her driving for her official license. Joe and I knew we wanted to get her a car, and we searched high and low for a good quality reliable car that still had something of a cool factor. We found this Honda on craigslist. It was just our max price and owned by a guy Joe knew from work. His daughter drove it all through high school. It was so cute, and it had a sunroof! He stored it for us for two weeks so we could surprise her with it.
So fun!
We had to get up very early so we could all make it to XC practice, and Kayte and Joe could go to breakfast...tradition!
She drove it to Spokane with me for a day of shopping!
Lunch at Twigs!
Sunroof selfie
Ava and Kayte went to Tapped for dinner together....next year, they will drive themselves, what??!
And...the traditional chocolate cake.
Ah, Kayte, we love ya! We are so proud of your busy successful self, and you have a heart of pure gold. Happy 15 years!!
