We were so ready! The boys were favored to win this meet, and the girls definitely had a shot at state. But the competition was ready too. The guys got second, and Kayte got 10th place, and a ride to state!

Kayte going to state her freshman year was a dream of mine since her very first race in 6th grade. Or maybe dating back to her first mile in first grade where she came in second out of her whole class.
I cannot believe it actually happened! I was so excited!!
