Kayte's Birthday :)

Kayte had a whirlwind birthday! She requested french toast for breakfast and we like to do our presents first thing!

This 9 year-old scored her first MP3 player (when I turned 9, tape decks were the only option) and a little dog that she can plug the player into and it will dance to her music. Fun!

The kids all picked her out a gift at the dollar store, but they couldn't resist wrapping up one of their own toys to give her, too.

We met her at school for 'family lunch'.

After school, we picked up Ava and got the movie "A Dolphin Tale" which was actually really good! Then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner where we met Madison. The rest of the fam were chillin' at Will's football game (literally!).

Then we headed home for presents and cake with the Casebolt family. It was a rare day of do-whatever-you-want and we fit in as much fun as we possibly could!

I was trying for a purple cake here, but I'm still working out those nagging food color issues.
