Happy Halloween!

I sure love this holiday. The kids have so much fun dressing up, and I love trick-or-treating! Ben was so excited to be out. He'd come back and say, "I said trick-or-treat and thank you!" He wouldn't let me carry his ever-growing load of candy. Apparently I couldn't be trusted, he was afraid I'd "spill" it.

We spent a long time down at the Driskill neighborhood with tons of cousins and friends, and then we did a loop around our own block. Which was busier this year than ever before.

Fun fun fun!

The score.

The kids were excited to get back to the house and hand out candy, but no one was more excited than Kayte. She was so torn between getting more candy or handing it out. She finally decided to head back a little early with Joe and wait it out.

When we did finally get some trick-or-treaters, they would hand out candy with two huge fistfuls for each kid. . .they eventually had to get some of their own candy to give away, and happy to do it. Who knew treating was just as fun as hauling it in?
