My mom managed to secure a cabin on CDA lake this summer for a whole week. I couldn't help but crash that party with my enthusiastic little crew. It was a gorgeous house, with every possible amenity, and a beautiful deck and view. We packed a lot of relaxation in in the two days we were there. . .
Will had to watch Jack a lot before he finally gave it a try. . .and loved it! Sara was happy to jump in a little closer to the shore line.
A hammock in the shade with a book and a good buddy? Doesn't get much better than that!

Sign of good times. . .and they slept solid. . .until 5:30 am. Get that party started!K and I have very fond memories of our summers spent up on Hayden Lake. A rustic little three room cabin with a two-seater outhouse across the road. A dock and a highrise platform for diving. We didn't have a boat. We might've had an inner tube. But we had lots of Bugles to snack on and cousins to play with. Best summers ever! It was fun to have a bit of that this summer with the kids. . .the granite counter tops were sure nice, too!
