Knights Fest is always a ton of fun! It does happen to land at one of the busiest times of the year, basketball! (With Mock Trial on the side.) So it was a bit of a scramble this year to get everything done. And Sara is class president, which has a whole load of extra responsibility that we kind of learned on the fly.
Kayte and Sara made a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for the dessert competition.
Sara was the wardrobe for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
The finished cheesecake.
Will and his friends grouped up in the Whitling kitchen to make a fruit loop cake and a berry cheesecake. Both were great, but the fruit loop was actually my fave.
Tora did all the food!
This was the 7th grade banner, made of felt pieces and all the writing was in sequins. Sequins!! It was pretty phenomenal.
Freshmen banner. Also cool.
Will was dressed as the 100 acre wood from Winnie the Pooh.
Sara had to get up on stage an announce all the characters....so intense!
The one picture I got of Kayte was totally blurry and dark, but she was Arwen, from Lord of the Rings.
The seniors had some pretty awesome entertainment...
Later that night, the Knights Fest Ball!! These two always look good!
My picture taking wasn't up to my usual standard this week. Much of the time I was running around with my head cut off, trying to make sure everyone had everything they needed, but a lot of the time was spent enjoying it myself!
