Happy Easter!

Easter was absolutely beautiful this year!  We did the usual family rounds with brunch and egg hunt at the Casebolt's and then more egg hunting and dinner at my mom's.  And a whole lotta sitting and soaking up the sunshine.  Perfect. day.
Here's a picture of the baskets all ready to go:
And then, all you are gonna see here is a ridiculous amount of redundant photos of my incredibly cute kids and all their fun little cousins.  Enjoy!

Treasure hunt for the Golden Egg ~

It was Hudson's actual birthday!

Fightin' with the big boys!

Egg hunting:

Ben and Hudson are only five days apart!  So we like to ham it up together!

Jesus is risen!  Christ is King!  Happy EASTER!

Smileys.

Taught my girlie how to do some emoticons.  Yeah, I know.  I'm digging my own ditch here.  But I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Recently, she started texting me her own emoticons.  To be fair, almost all possible emoticons have already been invented.
Here are hers:

i)  This would be a person with a black eye.

!) This is a person whose left eye is black.

I sure love that girl.

Peace and quiet.

A little weekend getaway with good, old friends.  Good food, good weather, good shopping, good hiking, and even a little snowstorm to cozy up in.

Pictures from Will's bday (yes, from over a month ago!)

I didn't get all these shots up!  We had a stellar day celebrating my little bud, turning the big 9!  Which of course, started and ended with a whole lotta sugar!

Red Ryder BB gun!

...and a spider!  Which I think he likes mostly cause it totally grosses me out :)

(Incidentally, they showed our apartment that morning.  Totally unannounced.  After the french toast and ripping open of gifts, but before the dishwasher and the trash run.  Total. humiliation.
Just so ya know, no, I was not raised like that, and yes, sometimes a lot of times, my house looks like that.  But never ever ever if I am expecting any company.  Just so you know.
Cause I'm beyond certain it was probably someone I know, or someone I will know someday.  Moscow's a pretty small town, after all.)
