Sara's first Logos games EVER!

Such a cutie!

She was super-excited to get the number 3 jersey!

Sixteen points the first game, and seven the next game. During time outs, she sits and bounces her knees up and down super-pumped to get back into the fray. She is something to watch. Her breakaways are jaw-dropping sprints down the court and then nothing but net. Big things are coming for this determined girl.

Final JV Home GAME!

Shawna signed on to coach the girls JV team part way through the season, and we were so thankful! She is very passionate and competitive and the girls love her!

This was a tough season, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do next year!

Auction 2018

Whew, this one felt like a big one. Made a record of $96k and I think it was a prettiest one to date.  Lots of unfamiliar faces the room was full! 291 people! So a huge success and a lot of fun.
Set up was quick and we even managed to make it to the girls JV game that afternoon!

Katie did an amazing job!

Thresh catering! So yummy!

Jemma got to come! She made muffins for the first live item -they sold for over $500!

My date :)

Such a cutie!

Take your dad to work day.

So Ben has been studying electricity at school and Joe got to come talk to the kids about it. He had a power point and experiments and party favors. It was a pretty big hit. Ben was pretty pumped.

The finale!

Pretty cool!

Epiphany

Such a gorgeous table and yummy food. We are all pretty excited to have one more little Christmas celebration before we pack it all up again.

Our cake suffered some quake damage in the car :(

Still yummy! And little Harper was queen! Again!

Vandals Game!

So dad got Joe a couple of tickets to a Vandals basketball game for Christmas this year. Usually we opt for a Coug game, but this year the Vandals actually beat the Cougs, so we thought we'd go see what that was all about. It was a really really good game and we barely lost it. Very exciting!
Dad also got himself a couple of tickets so Will got to come along! Fun night :)

January means basketball

So Kayte and Joe's seasons are still in full swing. Will was asked to practice with the varsity guys this season and Sara made the JH team, even as a 6th grader! They had room for a handful of 6th graders, and when Sara found that out, she spent hours working on her dribbling and her shot, to ensure a spot on the team. She ended up with 16 points in the first game: high scorer!!!
And, Ben's parks and rec team started at the end of January...so there is a good month there where all 5 of my people are playing some basketball!
And I am spectating. A lot. And I don't take many pictures because it is so intense all of the time! Thankfully, Sara's got my back...she took some of these:

Happy January!

Road Trip

Started the New Year out with a road trip with my dad over to see Grandma and Amy and Becky and little Georgia. I got zero pics except this screen shot of our trip soundtrack.
We drank a lot of soda, spent a solid two hours in IKEA, and ate burgers at Red Robin. We got all the supplies for happy hour at the local grocery and stayed at the Rodeway Inn with all the other roadtrippers.
It was a good time!

Another year for the record books!

New Years Eve!

How did we end up at the end of another year?
We got to spend the evening together again!  Ben had an agenda for the entire evening so that we were sure to get through all the fun things we wanted to do.
And all the fried food we wanted to eat!

Donuts!!
We watched the Martian with the subwoofer, of course. And when the evening got late, we played pit and poker to keep ourselves awake.

And you wouldn't believe it, but Ben got a ROYAL FLUSH. Seriously. And it played all the way out, and when he got called on the river he could barely contain his excitement. A celebratory shot was not well received :)
We headed out to the hot tub for a bit, and it was a gorgeous perfect night! We popped back in to catch the last 15 minutes of the ball dropping ceremony, bleh! But...
WE MADE IT TO MIDNIGHT!!
