Poor Al Gore. First they proved that he did not, in fact, invent the internet. And now it appears that his whole "global warming" theory hasn't panned out. Joe and I saw an old preview of "The Inconvenient Truth" last night and he spoke with such authority, and in front of such an enthusiastic audience. Maybe all that money he gave to the rainforests or whatnot to offset the energy he used to heat his pool actually did pay off. Maybe in 50 years, history books will say he changed the course of history and saved us from certain destruction.
But I'm not betting on it.
Don't give up Al Gore! It's not too late to hop on that Mayan 12-21-2012 bandwagon!
